The Xbox 360 red light error has got to be one of the most popular errors known to man! No, seriously, it probably feels like it sometimes.
The first option you have when trying to fix this problem is send it back to Microsoft. This is if your console is still under warranty that is? If it’s not, you could try fixing it yourself.
Fixing It Yourself:
First things first, switch your console off and disconnect all the wires. Open the console and allow it cool down. One of the most common problems with Xbox 360 is overheating. After you’ve done this, restart your system once is cooled down. Please bear in mind that this is just a temporary fix and you will need a more specific and detailed one.
